Frequent Questions About Fulfillment & Warehousing

Yes, you can store products produced elsewhere. Simply arrange a stocking date with us, and we'll handle the rest. During stocking, we'll check the quantity and condition of your products. If products don't have barcodes, we'll label them for accurate tracking.

Yes, you can use our storage services independently. You'll pay stocking and storage fees as outlined in our Fulfillment & Warehousing Price List, with fulfillment fees charged only when inventory is picked from the warehouse.

Our Fulfillment & Warehousing pricing is transparent and tailored to the services you use. The cost is based on five key fees:

  • Storage Fee: Charged monthly, based on the space your products occupy in our warehouse.
  • Fulfillment Fee: Covers picking, packing, and restocking returned items, with rates depending on the weight and number of items in the order.
  • Shipping Fee: Determined by the destination, weight, and delivery speed, using our standard Shipping Price List.
  • Stocking Up Fee: A one-time fee for receiving and storing new inventory, with free storage for products printed by Expresta.
  • Customer Support Fee: Standard support is free, with premium support available for direct customer inquiries.

The fulfillment fee is charged per item and is based on the higher value between its actual weight and volumetric weight. This ensures fair pricing by accounting for both handling effort for heavy items and packaging for bulky items.

To calculate the fee:

  1. Get your item's actual weight in kilograms (kg).
  2. Calculate the volumetric weight using the item's dimensions: Volumetric Weight = (length × width × height) / 5,000,000
  3. Use the higher value between actual weight and volumetric weight to calculate the fulfillment fee using the following formula: Fulfillment Fee = 0.6561 + (0.55 × weight)

Example Calculation:

For a book weighing1 kgwith dimensions 200 mm × 150 mm × 50 mm:

  • Calculate the volumetric weight: (200 × 150 × 50) / 5,000,000 = 0.3 kg
  • Compare the two weights:
  • Actual weight: 1 kg
  • Volumetric weight: 0.3 kg
  • Since 1 kg (actual weight) is greater, it will be used for the fee calculation.
  • Calculate the fulfillment fee:
  • Fulfillment Fee = 0.6561 + (0.55 × 1) = 1.20

Yes, with our API integration, you can connect your e-commerce platform directly to our system, allowing orders to be sent to us automatically as soon as your customers place them.

Our customer support team is available via email and phone to assist with order status and delivery issues. Standard support is provided to you as our direct client at no extra cost. If you want us to handle inquiries directly with your end customers, a premium customer support fee applies per order. Please note that Expresta does not handle complaints from your end customers about the ordered goods, including refund requests. These complaints will always be forwarded to you, and you are responsible for resolving them.

Yes, every product must have a barcode for accurate identification and efficient order processing. If your products don't have barcodes, we'll label them with our internal codes during the stocking process. The exception is low-value items like your own packaging materials or “branded items” (e.g., branded boxes, wrapping, or inserts under 50 grams such as flyers, small brochures, or thank-you cards), which do not require inventory tracking.
