”Great Job!” is the sort of customer praise we strive for. Occasionally, we get to hear it directly; at other times, we are simply confident that we can take pride in the results of our work. Doing a great job takes many forms – attention to detail, exemplary communication, valuable advice, or production speed that exceeds expectations are all opportunities to elevate your customer experience to the level we strive for.
Great job is also what Expresta wants our employees to say about working here. A great job is one that safe and rewarded fairly. It fosters an atmosphere where people feel comfortable because their colleagues are open with each other, respect each other and praise each other for their achievements. The corporate culture at a great job promotes skills development and learning, and is mindful of long-term sustainability and good health of individuals and our planet.
The goal of all our efforts is a satisfied customer. To achieve this result, we need to be internally motivated to help fulfil our customers' vision. At times, it's about making the right decision in the choice of material or technological process; at other times, it's also about making graphic design adjustments to remove any hidden flaws. The customer might not even be aware that they need help or that we have provided it – it is our internal mindset that matters. With every order, we are prepared to give professional advice or offer assistance as if we were doing it for ourselves.
This willingness to help is just as important within our team. Whenever someone asks for help, or when see that we can offer some – if we can go the extra step, we will not stand idly by. Part of our culture is knowing that willingness to help is not a “job description”; so we never forget to express gratitude.
Some decisions require courage as well as expertise. When we decided to bring our customers a technology unique to our region, the decision involved a lot of insight as well as a healthy dose of confidence in our abilities. This allowed us to take the leap and say, “Let's do it!” We're not looking for publicity stunts – innovation goes hand in hand with understanding the issues in our field and knowing what solutions we can offer our customers. But we must also be bold enough and try to walk off the beaten track.
A bold solution also entails a willingness to shoulder the responsibility in our team – because making a mistake or being wrong is not the problem (that can happen to everyone!). The real problem is if we don't learn from our mistakes. With this in mind, we don't have to escalate every decision higher and higher until all the issues are piled on our CEO's desk. A bold solution can also bring improvements in our processes and manufacturing – do you believe we can produce something we previously thought impossible? Have you thought of something that would help us work more efficiently? Then test your idea! Of course, we expect that you will draw on your experience and logical reasoning, and always keep in mind that health and safety comes first.
